In 1988 Russell Gibson became the owner of Christensen Jewelry. This wonderful hometown business was the perfect place for Russell to continue both his passion for jewelry design and his love of entrepreneurship. Russell’s vision was to maintain the exceptionally strong bond this iconic store had with the community and at the same time implement cutting edge programs alongside incredible jewelry from across the globe. When you visit Christensen Jewelry it takes only a moment to see that Russell’s vision is alive and well.
Christensen Jewelry is the oldest business on main street and are considered an important anchor to the downtown business district. Russell feels that this honor also comes with a big responsibility to support the community. As such, Christensen Jewelry is a large supporter for various causes, such as Relay for Life, Bridge of Hope, local performing arts, and an avid booster of all the area sports. As a past Chamber Board President, Russell’s efforts earned him a special lifetime achievement award. He also donates his time and expertise to the Jon Papajon Entrepreneurial Center to help up and coming entrepreneurs.
Russell is proud of the talented team he has in place to serve anyone in need of a special gift of jewelry, an appraisal or a treasured item repaired. The entire team at Christensen Jewelry understands that someone’s jewelry is very special to them. It is more than precious metal and gemstones. It’s a cherished memory and something that represents an important moment in your life. Our team looks forward to helping you in any way that we can to celebrate life with jewelry.
